A Transportation Construction Inspector is needed to support projects throughout the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) District 5. The role involves conducting inspections, writing reports, and verifying maintenance of traffic control devices.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable means of transportation
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- At least a year of experience in inspection of highways/bridges/traffic systems
- MDE Responsible Person Certification Card
- SHA Erosion and Sediment Control (Yellow Card)
- MD Temporary Traffic Control Manager
- MARTCP Concrete/HMA/Soils & Aggregates
- OSHA 10 Hour Training
- Previous experience with SHA's Maryland Construction Management System (MCMS) or e-MCMS documentation
- NICET Transportation, WACEL, ACI Concrete Field, NASSCO and IMSA Level 1 Traffic Signal Inspector certification
