
Job description
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance. This role serves as the liaison between customer engineering requirements and the production floor, translating customer specifications into manufacturable processes, and supporting accurate cost estimation for quoting.
Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, throughput, and yield. Analyze production workflows to eliminate waste and improve cycle times. Develop and maintain standard work instructions, PFMEA, and control plans.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma), hands-on experience supporting production and machine operations, and experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
