Job Description
A Road Mechanic ensures compliance of all railroad, safety, operations, and federal railroad administration rules and regulations. Troubleshoots and performs heavy repairs to all types of equipment components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and a high school graduate.
- Must have good communication skills and a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Must have a valid driver's license on the date of hire.
- Driver's License, the ability to obtain a CMV or CDL is required.
- Must be able to read and speak the English language because this position requires following government regulations and instructions.
