Actuarial Analyst, Worker's Compensation Pricing

Actuarial Analyst, Worker's Compensation Pricing position at AmTrust Financial seeking an aspiring actuarial student with pricing experience to develop rate indications and conduct profitability analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, or financial related field
• 1-2 years of actuarial experience
• Actively pursuing exams, with goal of becoming FCAS
• Understanding of insurance, underwriting, pricing, reinsurance, and financials
• Ability to critically problem solve and use business knowledge in developing solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Adept with programming languages / software such as R, SQL, Python, SAS and/or other statistical programming languages
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and with diverse skillsets
