Job Description
The AVP, Claim Legal Operations provides oversight, leadership, and direction to outside counsel to optimize claim outcomes and ensure superior legal services. They define a fit-for-purpose legal services delivery model and establish procedures to increase consistency of application of AmTrust billing and litigation management guidelines. The role requires a Juris Doctor from an Accredited Law School and 12+ years of experience in law practice with a focus on insurance defense and complex civil litigation.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from Accredited Law School
- State Bar licensed attorney
- 12+ years in practice of law with focus on insurance defense, complex civil litigation
- 10 years' experience in leadership roles of escalating responsibility supervising multiple attorneys
