Job Description
AmTrust Specialty Programs is looking to add an Assistant Vice President, Underwriting Specialty Programs to their team. The role will involve underwriting an assigned book of Program business, coordinating product development, and demonstrating strong relationship management with Program Managers.
Requirements
- A college degree required, in addition to property/casualty insurance experience, preferably 10+ years in an underwriting or product development role across various insurance lines at an insurance company.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Self motivated with a high degree of initiative.
- Strong interpersonal skills, time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written communication skills, including correct use of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Strong PC skills, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
