Counsel, Data Privacy and Compliance

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking an experienced lawyer to serve as Counsel, Data Privacy and Compliance in Munich, Germany. The role will report to the Chief Compliance Officer and work with global, cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will have strong academic credentials, qualified to practice law in Germany, and experience in data privacy and corporate compliance.

Requirements

• Draft and negotiate Data Processing Agreements and privacy terms with vendors
• Manage privacy impact assessments, data protection assessments, and fundamental rights impact assessments
• Coordinate DSAR and “forget me” processes
• Contribute to incident response in partnership with information security
• Advise on cybersecurity best practices and resilience
• Work with employment counsel and HR on employee data
• Conduct vendor diligence on personal data use and AI/ML features
• Assist with general compliance tasks and work with IT and investigative counsel on insider threat management
• Regulatory monitoring and enablement
• Manage relationships with outside counsel as needed for specialized regulatory issues
