Analog Devices is hiring a Principal Analog & Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer for the Instrumentation business unit, primarily targeting Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) applications. The role involves analysis, research, design, simulation, characterization, and release-to-production of high-performance, power-delivery & measurement Integrated Circuits.
Requirements
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years’ experience as analog circuit designer
- Strong fundamentals in analog and mixed-signal design, tools and flows
- Design experience with circuits such as amplifiers, DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, bias circuits, LDOs, and switching power supply circuits
- Experience in leading complex and large Mixed-Signal ICs
- Good understanding of power supply control architectures
- Knowledge of BCD process technologies
- Understand digital IC design
- Understand physical phenomena such as latch-up, HCI degradation, and other reliability issues
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills are required
- Ability to take ownership of top-level subsystems and integration in the mixed-signal environment
- Travel to support product definition should be expected
- Good level of understanding of the English language, both written and spoken
