Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to work with the AD Federal Quality organization. The SQE will investigate and resolve supplier issues, oversee the supplier approval process, and improve supplier performance.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering or Bachelor’s degree in engineering and equivalent experience in electronics manufacturing environment (2+ years)
• Leadership and effective oral communication across functions of all business units
• Understanding of quality tools such as, but not limited to: Six Sigma, 8D, 5-Why, FTA, Pareto Analysis, FMEA, and Lean Manufacturing
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems: ISO9001, AS9100, and other related systems
• Certified Quality Auditor is a plus
• Experience with First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102)
• Experience with AS9145 APQP/PPAP process for Aerospace
• Strong Engineering skills regarding machining, process flow
• Actively manage suppliers to ensure there are no regressions with the implementation of new processes
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent communication skills in difficult/diverse situations; level-headed and articulate to handle interactions with executive management, suppliers and auditors
• Self-driven/tenacious motivation to acquire knowledge as situations dictate
