Staff Engineer, Product Applications

Staff Engineer, Product Applications will develop leading-edge products and technology, support assigned IC products through their full product life-cycle, and provide technical support to key customers and field applications engineers.

Requirements

• BS in electrical engineering with 8 to 10+ years of experience or MS with 6 to 8+ years of experience.
• Understanding of analog and digital system design, with knowledge of and experience in industrial connectivity technologies.
• Experience working with industrial automation companies would be preferred.
• Experience in embedded firmware development skills using C/C++, and GUI development using C#.
• Extensive PCB design experience with schematic capture, layout, fab and assembly.
• Deep knowledge and Lab testing experience using common test equipment.
• Basic knowledge of EMI/EMC standards and test experience as applicable to Industrial end-equipment.
• Communicate effectively, both internally and externally, via verbal and written communication.
• Prioritize and manage several open tasks simultaneously, work both independently and with a cross-functional team.
