Job Description
Anchanto is seeking a Software Engineer- Ruby on Rails to design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for SaaS products in Ruby on Rails. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of modules, module level integrations, API integrations, and system design. Key responsibilities include writing maintainable, scalable, simple, clean and efficient code, working in an agile development life cycle, and providing regular status updates.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on development experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
- Hands-on experience with RSpec, Cucumber and other Ruby testing tools
- Sound knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Good working knowledge to write Stored Procedures
- Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization using monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Experience with Nginx, Phusion Passenger
- Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Git, Github, SVN
- JSON and XML knowledge
- Very good knowledge of Unix commands
- Good understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS and JQuery
