Chief Engineer, Advanced Science and Technology

The Chief Engineer, Advanced Science and Technology role is responsible for leading conceptual design, applied research, and experimental development for advanced air systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field (advanced degree strongly preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in advanced R&D, experimental aerospace systems, or new technology development programs
• Demonstrated experience leading conceptual design and early-phase system architecture
• Strong systems-level thinking with the ability to reason across multiple engineering domains
• Hands-on experience with real hardware, experimentation, or test activities
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
