Integration and Test Lead, Omen

Anduril Industries is seeking an Integration and Test Lead to join the Omen team at our Costa Mesa HQ. Omen is Anduril’s hover-to-cruise autonomous air vehicle (AAV) that packs the endurance, payload, and mission flexibility of much larger airplanes into a novel runway-independent Group 3 platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or aviation related technical discipline
• 10+ years experience in Systems Engineering, integration and test
• Experience in developing and operating HIL/HITL/IRON BIRD environments for flight vehicles
• Vehicle/System level integration and test experience, preferably with Group 3 or larger uncrewed and autonomous platforms. Flight test experience an advantage.
• Adept at working safely with high voltage systems, including integration, checkout and test
• Extensive knowledge of electronics/communications/integration troubleshooting and ability to use identify and operate appropriate diagnostics instruments. Experienced in debug of common protocols such as CAN/Ethernet/Serial.
• Experience with Linux and command line interface as well as software debugging
• Practiced in selecting, installing and operating data acquisition systems and specifying sensor types and ranges
• Extensive application of every aspect of the test process from planning to reporting
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented, excellent verbal & written communication skills (effective for broad audiences)
• A sincere commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture
• Trade or Mechanic qualifications considered advantageous
• Defense Industry background desirable
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance in United States, United Kingdom, or Australia
