Metrology Engineer

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Dimensional Metrology Engineer to join their Manufacturing Technology, Maritime Team. The team is responsible for rapidly developing and implementing manufacturing technologies and processes for cutting-edge defense hardware.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, or metrology engineering role.
• Strong proficiency in interpreting and applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per the ASME Y14.5 standard.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major metrology software platform (PC-DMIS, Polyworks, or Spatial Analyzer), with a strong aptitude to become proficient in others.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment governed by a formal Quality Management System (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).
• Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and 3D CAD models.
