Senior AI Engineer

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join a scrappy team dedicated to the continued development of our internal AI ecosystem.

Requirements

• Propose, prototype, and deploy LLM-based agentic systems that help solve real world problems, leveraging the latest state-of-the-art techniques in the field
• Work cross-functionally with different business lines across Anduril to help discover and scope new solutions
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, feature engineering workflows, and model-serving components that support applied AI use cases across the yard
• Learn and evangelize current AI technologies and trends (and their practical applications)
• An AI mindset; enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies and their practical implementations
• Creative problem-solving skills with an ability to simplify workflows into modular, reusable automation components
• Raw intellectual horsepower
• 1-2 years of experience taking AI systems into production or 2-4 years of experience with traditional ML
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related technical degree
• Experience using and optimizing AI coding assistants in a collaborative production environment
• Strong stakeholder and cross-functional communication skills; able to gather workflow requirements and convert them into technical automation
