Senior Controls Engineer, Manufacturing Automation

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join their Manufacturing Automation team. The role involves designing, developing, and managing controls systems for manufacturing, as well as partnering with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
• 4+ years of experience in controls and automation in a production environment
• Strong in PLC programming on both Allen Bradley & Siemens platforms
• Proficient in Ignition SCADA development
• Proficient in servo drive and VFD configuration, PID tuning, STO/SS, etc
• Strong knowledge of ethernet based communication protocols
• Experience integrating with MES and QMS
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
