Senior Optical Engineer - AI&T, Space Imaging

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Optical Engineer to join the Space Imaging team. The successful candidate will lead the assembly, integration, and test for novel optical systems and work closely with an interdisciplinary technical team. The role requires experience in complex opto-mechanical systems, optical assembly, integration, and testing, as well as knowledge of electro-optical systems specification, development, and testing.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or Physics/Astronomy required with a concentration in Optics
• 5+ years of experience with complex opto-mechanical systems, performing optical assembly, integration, and testing in the workforce
• Strong experience on free space optical systems integration and development for a space or airborne environment
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
