Senior Robotics Engineer, Manufacturing Automation

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Senior Robotics Engineer for its Manufacturing Automation team. The role involves designing, integrating, and deploying automated manufacturing systems across Anduril factories.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in robotics and automation within a manufacturing production environment
• Strong capability in programming and commissioning robots / cobots from FANUC and UR
• Proficiency in utilizing robot simulation software
• Strong theoretical and practical understanding of robot kinematics, dynamics, motion control, and advanced path planning techniques
• Proficient in the configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of robot drives, servo motors, and associated motion control systems
• In-depth knowledge of industrial safety standards and the implementation of safety functions like STO, SLS, SS1, etc
• Proven experience in EOAT selection, design, integration, and troubleshooting
