Anduril Industries is seeking a Systems Security Engineer to drive security engineering principles into the design and integration of next-generation radar systems. The ideal candidate has a background in systems security engineering and deep expertise in embedded systems security.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Systems Security Engineering, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
- Previous work on security engineering and architecture for defense/national security systems and/or complex embedded commercial systems
- Deep expertise in embedded systems security, including familiarity with security-relevant features on embedded hardware/FPGAs
- Architectural security expertise with proven experience securing complex software systems for embedded or real-time applications
- Experience with heterogeneous computing security: Hands-on experience securing systems combining CPUs, GPUs (specifically Nvidia Jetson), and FPGAs
- Strong understanding of secure API design and implementation for both internal and external consumers
- Proficiency in secure coding practices and vulnerability mitigation for embedded software, including board support packages (BSP), real-time operating systems (RTOS), and device drivers
- Ability to effectively brief and interact regularly with highly technical government customers
- Strong understanding of the 'why' behind product, system, and security design decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey security architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
