Systems Engineer

Anduril Industries is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Sentry Engineering team in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware and software systems engineering, model-based systems engineering, and collaboration across cross-functional teams. The role will involve leading the integration of emerging capabilities, defining system requirements, and developing comprehensive test plans. The Systems Engineer will work closely with the Hardware and Software Engineering, Program Management, and Air Defense cross-functional teams to deliver an outcome.

Requirements

• Proven ability to excel in ambiguous environments
• 3-8 years of hardware and software systems engineering experience
• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Robotics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Demonstrated use of model based systems engineering in program lifecycle
• Experience with tools such as: JAMA, Cameo, Matlab, Simulink, AFSIM
• Demonstrated proficiency in the application of engineering standards into engineering processes or requirements
• Demonstrated experience collaborating across cross-functional teams
• Comfortable working with ambiguity, evolving priorities, and challenging problems
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Up to 25% travel to customer sites
