Senior Software Engineer, Banking

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Banking team at AngelList, where you'll design, build, and maintain foundational banking services and APIs consumed by multiple product teams. You'll own core platform primitives, build reliable integrations with banking partners, and partner with compliance and risk teams to ensure systems meet regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 6+ years building backend or full-stack web applications, with meaningful time spent on platform, infrastructure, or foundational systems
• Deep experience designing APIs, services, and abstractions intended for consumption by other engineering teams
• Strong background in financial systems, payments, ledgers, or banking integrations
• Track record of building systems where 'close enough' isn't good enough
