International Payroll Lead

Angi is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented, and forward-thinking International Payroll Lead to lead payroll operations across five countries - Netherlands, Germany, Austria, United Kingdom and France. The role combines strategic oversight and hands-on execution of end-to-end payroll functions to ensure accuracy, consistency, standardization, and compliance with SOX controls.

Requirements

• 4+ years proven experience managing multi-country payroll operations across European jurisdictions, experience in NL, UK, DE, or FR is a plus
• Experience managing the payroll implications of equity awards across multiple jurisdictions, including taxation, withholding, and reporting obligations
• Strong knowledge of European labor law and statutory requirements is required
• Strong knowledge of United States and Canadian labor law and payroll practices is preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated experience managing relationships with external payroll providers across multiple countries
• Outstanding internal & external-facing customer service skills with a sense of urgency
• Proficient in international HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., Personio, UKG/Immedis, ADP, SAP, or similar)
• Must be self-driven and able to work autonomously
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and international environment
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Fluent written and spoken English is required
