Job Description
We're looking for a skilled civil engineer to join Anglian Water and contribute to the design and delivery of essential clean water or wastewater projects. As a Civil Engineer, you'll support the full project lifecycle and ensure compliance with technical standards while seeking opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
Requirements
- BEng or MEng/MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete design and application of British Standards/Eurocodes
- Proven experience in the design and delivery of buried pipework and pipelines
- Understanding of hydraulic principles for open channel and closed conduit flows
- Experience designing civil engineering structures within the water/wastewater industry
- Proficiency with engineering software such as TEDDS, Staad Pro, AutoCAD, Robot, Civil 3D, or Revit
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and a collaborative working style
- Drive to achieve chartered status with the ICE or IStructE
