Requirements
- Lead proactive and reactive water quality interventions across operational sites, driving optimisation strategies that balance regulatory compliance, customer safety, cost, and carbon considerations.
- Act as a key water quality stakeholder within capital delivery and asset governance processes, identifying emerging risks, influencing investment decisions, and advising on water quality aspects for the commissioning of new and refurbished assets.
- Be a recognised technical expert in water quality risk and process science, mentoring colleagues and increasing scientific knowledge, skill and competency of scientists and operational colleagues.
- Continually seek to understand new ways of working and use different/new technology to support continuous improvement of our process risk profile.
- Lead scientific aspects of Water Services Business Plan initiatives, mitigating operational, financial, and compliance risks.
