Strategic Control System Lead (Operational Technology)

Strategic Control System Lead for Operational Technology to implement and operate the Enterprise Control System, driving digital transformation and system enhancements. The role involves leading the implementation, ongoing operation, and optimization of the system, as well as defining organizational roles and building relationships with stakeholders. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of SCADA system design and operation, object-oriented design principles, and modern programming languages. A degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline is essential, and postgraduate qualification is desirable. The role is a fixed-term contract for the end of 2028, and the base location is flexible across the Anglian Water region with travel to Peterborough.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of SCADA system design and operation
• Understanding of object-oriented design principles within industrial control environments
• Experience using modern programming languages for control related product development
• Knowledge of role-based access control and digital control product lifecycle management
