Job Description
At AngloGold Ashanti Australia, we are seeking an Exploration Geologist to join our Exploration team at the Tropicana Gold Mine. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting exploration activities and completing assigned project work that furthers geological understanding and exploration success in the near-mine and regional environments.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary or postgraduate degree in geology
- Over 2 years' experience working as an exploration, resource development or mine geologist
- Excellent geological interpretation skills
- Experience using GIS and 3D modelling software
- Knowledge of QAQC practices
- Current C class manual driver's licence, preferably with 4WD experience
- Permanent work rights in Australia are mandatory
