Job Description
AngloGold Ashanti seeks a Geologist 2 - Exploration to design and implement exploration work plans, monitor their implementation, and provide technical interpretation and geological modeling. The role involves leading geological interpretation sessions, developing predictive exploration models, and overseeing multi-disciplinary targeting exercises.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Geology or Advanced diploma
- 3 to 5 years' experience in Mineral Exploration, especially Gold Exploration
- Competence in computer-aided software such as ArcGIS, Datamine or Leapfrog
- Good knowledge of geological data interpretation and 3D geological modelling
