The Water Permitting Specialist manages the Nevada Projectsâ water rights portfolio and supports all waterârelated regulatory processes.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, Geology, or a related field.
- Valid driverâs license required.
- 3â7 years of experience in environmental compliance, water permitting, or water resource management within mining or industrial operations.
- Strong familiarity with Nevada water regulatory frameworks preferred.
- Experience preparing regulatory technical reports and working with groundwater, stormwater, or discharge compliance programs.
- Water permitting and regulatory compliance expertise.
- Groundwater and surface water monitoring program management.
- Strong data analysis and technical reporting skills.
- Understanding of Nevada water permit requirements and permit condition management.
- Ability to identify risks and track corrective actions.
- Familiarity with hydrologic or environmental data systems.
- Strong technical problemâsolving and judgment.
- Ability to work independently within regulatory frameworks.
