Systems Engineer

Anika Systems is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support a federal contract in the Washington, DC area. The selected candidate will contribute to the success of a cross-functional IT communications team, supporting efforts across enterprise architecture and IT governance initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience in IT systems administration, technical support, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Oracle Developer Suite 11g, SQL*Plus 11g, and TOAD (Tools for Oracle Application Developers).
• Familiarity with Erwin Data Modeler for database modeling and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processing, data transformation, and data archiving techniques.
• Experience with Salesforce data integration and Oracle-based application environments.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, hardware, and enterprise software across both Windows and Apple environments.
• Experience working in Apple Macintosh environments for technical data handling, archiving, and documentation support.
• Understanding and application of naming conventions for modernization and legacy system decommissioning.
• Ability to work effectively with vendors to manage support and upgrade processes.
• Familiarity with IT security compliance standards and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
