Job Description
Animal Friends is seeking Summer Camp Instructors to lead part-time teaching opportunities for children aged Kindergarten to high school. The position requires a high level of energy, enthusiasm, creativity, and flexibility to work with groups of all ages and animals. Applicants must be available to teach specific dates and times from June to August.
Requirements
- Experience delivering Humane Education, SEL, or animal-focused lessons
- Strong classroom management skills
- Strong public-speaking and communications skills
- Ability to bend, lift 40 pounds, sit/kneel on the floor, and stand for extended periods of time
- Willingness to work around dogs, cats, and rabbits of varying temperaments, breeds, and medical status
