Neonatal Nurse Practitioner 24/7 Outreach Locations

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works within the multidisciplinary clinical team to provide individualized patient care through history and physical assessment, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, medication ordering, prescribing and management, formulating diagnoses and patient/family education.

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited school appropriate for certification as a Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant
• Two (2) years of relevant clinical experience is preferred
• Licensure in the State of Illinois as an APRN/PA is required
• Clinical privileges through credentialing by the Medical Staff Office achieved within 90 days of hire
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification and/or other specialty certification is required in some areas within 6 months of employment
