Outreach Coordinator

The Outreach Coordinator works with staff and initiative managers to design and implement strategies to increase awareness of AAWDC’s services and impact among job seekers, businesses, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Responsible for proofing all outreach assets for spelling, grammar, taglines, color, accuracy, etc.
• Assists in developing consistent messaging templates and talking points for initiative-level outreach
• Produces content for both print and web
• Develops and maintains a content calendar for assigned initiatives
• Maintains AAWDC’s social media presence catered to job seekers, businesses, and stakeholders
• Assists with website content updates using content management system (CMS)
• Coordinates and facilitates communications and outreach needs for AAWDC initiatives
• Supports team in the creation of long-term goals, metrics, and strategies
• Contributes to initiative-level messaging frameworks and drafts content aligned to strategic narratives
• Research target audience characteristics to inform messaging approach and channel selection
• Collaborate on internal communications strategies to ensure all AAWDC staff are aware of organization initiatives.
• Coordinates production and distribution of internal communications
• Pulls and compiles regular performance reports for e-mail, social media, and outreach campaigns
• Tracks event attendance and outreach activities against established goals and reports results
