Job Description
Join our team at Anoka County as a Seasonal Recreation Program Specialist- Community Camp Environmental Educator and contribute to the quality of life in Anoka County by providing parks, outdoor recreation, and leisure services. This is a seasonal, non-exempt, on-site position with varied work hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Plan and deliver park program activities that align with the program delivery goals and desired outcomes of the Parks Department.
- Report on program outcomes by tracking participation, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Assist in curriculum preparation and provide input on current trends and popular activities to increase program relevance and resident interest.
- Carry out established roles for supervising camper health and enforcing camp safety regulations.
- Actively participate in staff training, meetings, and supervisory sessions.
