Job Description
We are currently recruiting Cardiac Perfusionists to support the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System in Ann Arbor, MI. As a Cardiac Perfusionist, you will assist in bypass surgical cases and valve replacement, perform onsite perfusion services, and maintain a sterile environment for procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in perfusion from a program in the United States or Canada accredited by the CAAHEP or RQualTM Canada
- Full and unrestricted license to the services covered by this contract issued in any State Territory, or Commonwealth of the Unites States or the District of Columbia
- Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion
- Active certification as a Perfusionist, as well as documentation verifying the current certification
- Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated experience in open heart surgery, heart lung machine, membrane oxygenation, left/right heart bypass, intra-aortic balloon pumping, and centrifugal ventricular assist device
