Data Center Electrical Engineer

Anthropic is seeking a Data Center Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design of critical data center equipment across the APAC portfolio, with a focus on Japan. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in mission-critical facilities, fluency in Japanese, and knowledge of data center design conventions and regulatory/code regimes across Japan, Korea, and the broader APAC region.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in mission-critical facilities, with substantial time spent on data center or other high-availability electrical distribution design
• Fluency in Japanese, including reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation
• Knowledge of data center design conventions and regulatory/code regimes across Japan, Korea, and the broader APAC region, including IEC standards and local jurisdictional requirements
