Protective Intelligence Analyst

Anthropic's Protective Intelligence Analyst role involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating threats to the company's people, facilities, operations, and reputation through intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination. The role requires expertise in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) tradecraft, behavioral threat assessment, and executive protection. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience in protective intelligence, corporate investigations, threat assessment, or a related discipline, and a strong drive for continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Conduct all-source intelligence collection and analysis to identify, assess and prioritize physical security threats to Anthropic and its personnel
• Produce clear, well-sourced analytical products, from quick-turn updates to in-depth analytical reports for executive delivery
• Investigate and triage concerning communications, online threats, and persons of concern using established threat assessment methodologies
• Apply behavioral threat assessment principles to persons-of-concern cases, analyzing patterns of concerning behavior, indicators of escalation toward violence, and mitigating factors to guide case disposition and ongoing threat management
• Provide intelligence support for executive protection, travel security, and major events, including pre-travel and event briefs, assessments, and real-time threat monitoring
