Software Engineer, Backend

Anthropic is looking for backend software engineers to work across our product engineering organization, building products and systems that bring Claude's capabilities to users and developers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience as a backend or product engineer
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar backend languages and experience with modern cloud infrastructure
• Strong demonstrated product sense and ability to think about user experience
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound technical decisions independently
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate between product requirements and technical implementation
