Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We are looking for a Staff + Senior Software Engineer to join our Cloud Inference team, which scales and optimizes Claude to serve massive audiences across AWS, GCP, Azure, and future cloud service providers.
Requirements
- Significant software engineering experience in high-performance, large-scale distributed systems serving millions of users
- Experience building or operating services on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong interest in inference
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Highly autonomous and self-driven, with a bias toward flexibility and high-impact work
