Staff+ Software Engineer, Platform

Anthropic is seeking a Staff+ Software Engineer, Platform to join their team and work on building foundational primitives that accelerate product development across the company. The ideal candidate will have 8-10+ years of practical full-stack engineering experience and a technical expert in modern frontend and backend development. The role will involve architecting and optimizing critical development infrastructure, building and maintaining core infrastructure, and working closely with product teams to eliminate friction points.

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of practical full-stack engineering experience
• 2+ years operating at a Staff or equivalent technical leadership level
• Led the design and delivery of complex, consumer or B2B user-facing products across the full stack
• Technical expert in modern frontend and backend development
• Experience in early start-up or otherwise fast moving, rapidly evolving environments
• Built products from 0 to 1
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
