Job Description
Anypear is seeking a diligent and creative Wordpress Website Designer Developer to help a New Zealand based Web Design Agency. The role involves designing and developing visually appealing, user-friendly WordPress websites that reflect clients' branding and objectives.
Requirements
- Design and develop visually appealing, user-friendly WordPress websites
- Customise WordPress themes and plugins
- Ensure websites are responsive, optimised for speed, and compatible with mobile and browsers
- Perform website maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting
- Work with clients to gather requirements and provide technical guidance
- Conduct website audits to identify areas for improvement and implement optimisations
- Stay up to date with the latest web technologies and design trends
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or Designer
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development
- Strong with page builders (e.g., Elementor, Flatsome) and responsive design techniques
- Experience with website performance optimisation and SEO best practices
- Excellent attention to detail, diligent and responsible
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
