Job Description
A.O. Smith is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst - Entry Level to work with internal warehouse staff, international suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and efficient movement of international freight, while following all applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience with import/export laws and regulations, HTS classification, and Customs procedures.
Requirements
- Microsoft Office Suite experience
- Minimum 1 year of applicable work experience
- Ability to organize work, manage time, and follow through with minimal supervision
- Concise written and oral communication skills
- Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Experience with SAP
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, International Logistics, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of trade compliance experience
- Certified Customs Specialists preferred
