Certified Industrial Hygienist

Apex Companies, a growth-focused consulting & engineering firm, seeks a Certified Industrial Hygienist for a full-time, on-site position supporting a national aerospace manufacturer in Wichita, Kansas. The role entails providing advanced occupational health and safety expertise, serving as the site's senior IH subject matter expert, and leading review and implementation of IH programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial Hygiene or related field; 10+ years of experience.
• CIH preferred but not required (if the incumbent can demonstrate advance knowledge of Industrial Hygiene)
• Expert in exposure assessment, toxicology, and chemical hazard evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, ACGIH, and related standards.
• Proven ability to lead IH programs and mentor teams.
• Experienced in compliance audits, risk assessments, and program management.
• Skilled in data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and EHS software tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
