Staff Software Engineer (Golang)

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a Staff Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience in software development, proficient in diverse programming languages, to lead the design and development of secure, scalable multi-tenant systems for their wealth management platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Go backend services, gRPC, and GraphQL architectures, as well as experience with fintech, wealth management, or broker-dealer platforms.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development with a strong proficiency in diverse programming languages
• Strong experience with Go backend services, gRPC, and GraphQL architectures
• Proven track record designing and building multi-tenant B2B2C platforms at scale
• Experience with GCP cloud-native services including Cloud Run, GKE, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub
• Experience with fintech, wealth management, or broker-dealer platforms
• Working knowledge of SEC and FINRA regulations and their impact on platform architecture
• Experience with SOC 2 compliance requirements and implementing them through system design
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or Spanner in high-transaction environments
• Knowledge of authentication and identity federation using providers such as Cognito, Auth0, or Okta, including SAML SSO implementation
• Experience with authorization systems and relationship-based access control models (e.g., SpiceDB, OPA, Zanzibar-style architectures)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform/Terragrunt) preferred
• Experience with correspondent or clearing firm platforms is a plus
