Job Description
The position plays a crucial role in the research, development, and successful launches of new products to the market. The candidate should have a strong grasp of engineering principles, including theoretical foundations of mechanical and electrical engineering.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar applicable engineering discipline, from an ABET accredited institution
- 10+ years working with design and manufacturing of electromechanical products
- Innovative thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with domestic and international cross-functional associates
- Experience in executing complex problem-solving techniques related to design/technical issues
- Ability to plan, organize, and implement multiple concurrent tasks
- Strong working knowledge and experience with various manufacturing and finishing processes, tolerances, fits & finishes, and GD&T
- Strong CAD user – CREO, SolidWorks, NX, etc. CREO is preferred
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience a plus
- Ability to facilitate, lead, teach or execute the use of PPAP, DFM/DFA, DVP&R, DFMEA and PFMEA
