Job Description
Apixa is seeking a Vision Systems Engineer with expertise in optics and imaging systems to design, develop, and deploy imaging systems for computer vision applications.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Computer Vision, Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a business or industrial context
- Strong understanding of optics and imaging fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with industrial or scientific camera systems
- Experience selecting cameras and lenses for real-world computer vision applications
- Familiarity with different imaging technologies (RGB, hyperspectral, thermal, etc.)
- Experience with camera calibration and imaging system characterization
- Practical, hands-on mindset and ability to work in a lab/workshop environment
- Good knowledge of English
- Ownership of projects from start to finish
