Job Description
APM Terminals, a global leader in port and terminal operations, is seeking a Container Shift Manager to join their team in Lima, Peru. The successful candidate will play a vital part in managing terminal operations, ensuring productivity and customer service, and leading a team of professionals. Requirements

- Leading, motivating, instructing, and supporting the team
- Ensuring productivity, efficiency, and proper use of personnel and equipment
- Identifying training needs of personnel and following up
- Obtaining updated information on all current operations
- Reporting to Management on the current state, future operations, and analysis of past operations
- Managing and controlling resources (machinery, operators, equipment) during the shift
- Planning machinery and operators for the next shift
- Executing the transfer of machinery for the next shift
- Performing regular checks of control processes
- Initiating and supporting performance improvement activities
- Providing suggestions for changes in policies and procedures
- Reporting any activity that cannot be completed within the deadline or control
