Job Description
APM Terminals seeks a Terminal Supervisor to promote continuous improvement, foster a learning-oriented environment, and provide clear supervision and guidance to team members. Key responsibilities include managing operational team members, allocating resources, and ensuring safe working practices. We are looking for a candidate with a strong focus on continuous improvement and a deep understanding of container terminal operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, logistics, Business Administration or Related field
- 5+ years supervisory experience in container operations or similar industry
- Deep understanding of container terminal operations, vessel cargo logistics, hazardous and special cargo handling and familiar with IMO regulations and international safety standards
- Advanced computer skills and knowledge of modern terminal planning/control systems
- Fluent in English
