Mainframe Systems Programmer

Apogee Global RMS is looking for a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer who will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing z/OS mainframe environments. This role requires strong technical ownership, deep understanding of IBM mainframe subsystems, and the ability to ensure high availability, performance, and security across complex infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5–12+ years of experience as a Mainframe Systems Programmer
• Strong hands‐on experience with z/OS, SMP/E, JES2/JES3, and IBM mainframe utilities
• Experience supporting one or more subsystems: CICS, IMS, DB2, MQ, RACF, VTAM, TCP/IP
• Solid understanding of mainframe storage, catalog management, and performance tuning
• Strong diagnostic and problem‐solving skills using IBM tools and logs
