Associate, Global Family Offices, Asia Pacific

Apollo is seeking an Associate to join our Global Family Office (GFO) coverage team in our Hong Kong office. This newly created role will ideally suit a high performing junior investment banker or alternatives sales / wealth management executive looking to support our coverage efforts of leading Family Offices & Businesses across Asia Pacific (APAC).

Requirements

• 2-5 years’ experience in investment banking, wealth management, or family offices in Singapore or Hong Kong
• Solid corporate finance (M&A, financing), financial product knowledge, experience in alternatives is a plus
• Great attention to detail, responsible person with strong work ethic
• Be able to stretch into any area and take ownership of delegated tasks to support team’s goals
• Interest in client facing role with potential to becoming coverage officer, understand collaboration in a global firm
• A multi-tasker that can prioritize and manage their time effectively
• Team player, culture fit for Apollo; Maintain high level of professionalism and integrity
• Experienced working in an international organization and willingness to be flexible with hours as part of a global firm
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Salesforce/CRM
• Excellent verbal and written English communication
• Additional Asian languages preferred: Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Bahasa
