Insurance Solutions Group Middle Office Director, Investment Operations

Apollo is seeking a Director to manage its Los Angeles-based Middle Office Operations team. The Director will lead a team across trade support, collateral management, portfolio rebalancing, client service, and investment funding operations. The role presents an exciting opportunity to shape and scale ISG’s middle office function, drive operational excellence, and partner closely with investment, front office, accounting, and technology teams in a fast-paced investment management business.

Requirements

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Middle Office Operations professionals
• Provide day-to-day oversight, set clear priorities, and ensure accountability across the team’s deliverables and timelines
• Oversee trade processing and settlement across multiple asset classes
• Monitor and resolve trade issues and inquiries from clients, front office, brokers, and custodians
• Execute and review investment funding and wire processing transactions
• Maintain and enhance the team’s runbook of daily and monthly activities
• Drive continuous improvements in workflows, automation, and operational efficiencies
• Support technology and business initiatives
